When I was a boy, one of these bronze models of the dam sat among the unused pinball machines in the barn of my grandfather's place outside Ontario, Oregon. As a partner in the Moore Hotel–Ontario's finest–he was a supporter of the dam. He got his start selling punch boards and pinballs. I was excited to come across this model in the dam office. The small opening at the bottom represents where water from the Glory Hole exits
